Twitch Embed Block

Does not require a Twitch authentication token configured in the settings

The StreamWeasels Twitch Embed block allows you to embed a single Twitch stream directly into your WordPress content.

Adding the Twitch Embed Block

  1. Open the WordPress editor for the page or post where you want to add the Twitch embed.
  2. Click on the "Add Block" button (+) to open the block library.
  3. Search for "StreamWeasels Twitch Embed" or navigate to the "StreamWeasels" category.
  4. Click on the "StreamWeasels Twitch Embed" block to insert it into your content.

Configuring the Twitch Embed Block

Once you have added the Twitch Embed block to your content, you can customize its settings to display the desired Twitch stream.

  1. Select the Twitch Embed block by clicking on it.
  2. In the block settings panel on the right-hand side, you will find various options to configure the Twitch embed.
  • Channel: Enter the Twitch channel name you want to embed. By default, the block is set to display the "monstercat" channel.
  • Autoplay: Enable or disable automatic playback of the Twitch stream. By default, autoplay is disabled.
  • Theme: Choose between "dark" and "light" themes for the embedded player. The default theme is set to "dark".
  • Muted: Toggle whether the stream starts with audio muted. By default, audio is not muted.
  • Embed Chat: Choose whether to display the Twitch chat alongside the stream. By default, the chat is not embedded.
  • Width: Set the width of the embedded player. Leave it empty to use the default width.
  • Height: Set the height of the embedded player. Leave it empty to use the default height.

Twitch Integration Block

Requires a Twitch authentication token configured in the settings

The StreamWeasels Twitch Integration block allows you to embed multiple Twitch streams in various layouts on your WordPress website.

Adding the Twitch Integration Block

  1. Open the WordPress editor for the page or post where you want to add the Twitch integration.
  2. Click on the "Add Block" button (+) to open the block library.
  3. Search for "StreamWeasels Twitch Integration" or navigate to the "StreamWeasels" category.
  4. Click on the "StreamWeasels Twitch Integration" block to insert it into your content.

Configuring the Twitch Integration Block

Once you have added the Twitch Integration block to your content, you can customize its settings to display the desired Twitch streams.

  1. Select the Twitch Integration block by clicking on it.
  2. In the block settings panel on the right-hand side, you will find various options to configure the Twitch integration.
  • Layout: Choose the desired layout for the Twitch streams. The available options depend on the StreamWeasels Twitch Integration plugin. By default, the layout is set to "wall".
  • Channels: Specify the Twitch channel names separated by commas (e.g., "channel1,channel2,channel3") to display specific channels. Leave it empty to show all channels.
  • Team: Enter the name of a Twitch team to display streams from the specified team. Leave it empty to exclude teams from filtering.
  • Game: Enter the name of a Twitch game to display streams from the specified game category. Leave it empty to exclude games from filtering.
  • Language: Specify the language code (e.g., "en", "fr", "de") to display

If you want to configure the Twitch Embed Block or the Twitch Integration Block further, you can access a wide range of additional options on the Twitch Integration settings page within your WordPress admin panel. These settings provide granular control over the behavior and appearance of the embedded Twitch streams.
